Tennessee William's Haunts Scavengar Hunt

The Museum's Kohlmeyer Circle collaborates with the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival in presenting Tennessee's Haunts. Join the first ever Tennessee Williams Festival scavengar hunt and tour some of the most interesting spots in the French Quarter - Tennessee's Haunts. NOADA's White Linen Night
During this year's White Linen Night, the annual arts evening held throughout the Warehouse Arts District coordinated by the Contemporary Art Center, the Ogden Museum is pleased to present AIBEE. ... art + virtual reality + a robotic dog! It promises to be a truly unique experience. Stop by the Museum for a virtual experience, the creation of the University of New Orleans Fine Arts and Computer Science departments. The project derives its name from “SONY AIBO + BEE = AIBEE”, and uses origami flowers and color as elements in creating the virtual experience. Participants place blue or red origami flowers in the installation for Aibee, the Sony robotic dog, to find. Once Aibee recognizes the color of the flower, it has the Aibee avatar in the virtual world create a building of the same color. The buildings spiral out and creative “hives,” eventually building a “honeycomb” city. The virtual experience will begin on the Museum plaza and culminate on the fifth-floor terrace. As with all programming and events, the Ogden Museum will be free to Museum members throughout White Linen Night. The Museum is requesting a $5 suggested donation from the general public for admission that evening
