The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, University of New Orleans is located in the heart of New Orleans’ historic Warehouse Arts District. Devoted to the art, culture and history of the South, the Museum is the perfect setting for weddings, receptions, formal dinners, corporate events, and social celebrations of any sort.
Stephen Goldring Hall currently showcases changing exhibitions and the Museum’s permanent collections. This modern, five-story structure features a glass facade, "floating" staircase, and intimate galleries surrounded by mezzanine-style balconies which overlook the Grand Hall's four-story atrium. The Museum rents two buildings: the modern, five-story Stephen Goldring Hall and the 19th-century Patrick F. Taylor Library, which are connected via connecting corridor for Goldring Hall is rented by floor; the Library is rented as one space. Below are rental combinations with capacities:

What does the Museum provide with facility rentals?
Facility rentals include the space(s) rented, security and an on-site coordinator. All beverage service is provided through the Museum at an additional cost, while catering, furniture rental, A/V, and any other services must be contracted through third-party vendors. All third-party vendors must be approved by the Museum. The on-site coordinator acts only as an intermediary between the Museum, client, and third-party vendors for the interests of the Museum only and does not serve as an event planner for the client.
Can I bring in my own caterer?
The Museum allows clients to bring in outside caterers at no additional charge. All caterers must be approved by the Museum and conduct an on-site meeting with the events manager no less than 30 days prior to the date of the event. Outside caterers may not provide beverage service.
Does the Museum have a list of approved caterers?

When is the Museum available for rental?
Facility rentals must not interfere with normal working conditions of the Museum. Facility rentals may only be contracted in Goldring Hall after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday-Monday. Goldring Hall is available after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. The Library is available for rent after 10:00 a.m., 7 days a week.
How long is regular rental period?
The Museum rents facilities for 4 hour events. Additional time may be contracted at an incremental, additional cost. Load-in and load-out are not included in this 4 hour time.
Does the Museum provide parking?
