Devoted to the art, culture and history of the South, The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, University of New Orleans is the newest addition to downtown's Lee Circle in the heart of the historic Warehouse Arts District. The multi-structure 67,000 square-foot complex is where Southern art meets Southern life.
The complex includes Stephen Goldring Hall, a modern, five-story structure featuring a glass faade, a "floating" staircase, and mezzanine-style balconies surrounding intimate galleries and overlooking the Grand Hall's four-story atrium. Goldring Hall will host small gatherings as well as large receptions up to 600 guests. A rooftop terrace, with exquisite views of the city's skyline, is also available for private functions.
We are happy to conduct a personal tour of the OMSA facilities to aid in planning your event. The Special Events Department will also help in arranging for the caterer, rentals, entertainment, florists or any service to make your event a complete success.
